5 stars - Delicious!
I love this stuff! So versatile - great for tea, hot wing sauce, salad dressing ingredient and what it's supposed to be used for - ginger beer. You can even mix that up a bit, too -- I use flavored La Croix soda water (lime, lemon, grapefruit) and that's great too. They label this medium spicy - I'd love to see a spicier version.
The great thing about this syrup is that you can make your ginger beer as sweet or as dry as you'd like. I bought this originally as a one-time purchase, but next time I'll be a subscribed purchaser. It's a must have for me. -- Amazon.com customer

"Just gave the Pickett's Ginger Beer mixture a try, great stuff (mixed it with my isi seltzer water)I was reading on the label it makes 12 12 oz bottles, I believe that it could easily make 24. Will be placing another order soon for more. You have a great product on your hands." - Premiermixers.com Customer

If you like ginger, this product leads you to experimenting with food and drink! I have made a marinade for tuna with it, and a fantastic deadly mule, just to name a few. You should always have some around--it's a kitchen staple!

In a copper cup, I use about 1/2 oz. of this syrup, 2 oz. vodka, 1/2 oz. lime juice, and then top it off with club soda. It's the best.

This ginger beer syrup is excellent, and is made with cane sugar - a big plus! It has quite a bite, so if you like spicy ginger beer this is highly recommended. I try every brand of ginger beer that I can get my hands on, but now I keep my fridge and pantry stocked with Pickett's syrup.

Pickett's makes a really solid, tasty ginger beer. The medium is decently spicy, the spicy is quite spicy. It's spicier and less sweet than, say, Bundaberg's, more like a Cock & Bull in my opinion, and makes a nice drink, with or without booze. Good with sparlking water and some lime juice. It mixes fine with a fruit-flavored syrup, like mango. I also throw it in recipes calling for ginger, like soups or sautees.

The No1 concentrate makes a ginger beer on par with the Ginger People beer at a lower cost. Very nice clear ginger taste and not too sweet. Because its a concentrate you can mess with the strength to suit yourself.
The No3 concentrate is great for those who like a very spicy drink. It needs a light hand as its easy to get too much of a goo thing.
The fact that both are concentrates is an advantage in that they can easily be used in marinades and glazes. No3 is particularly good in spicy oriental chicken dishes as a glaze. No1 works better with milder dishes particularly with beef or pork.
